Matthew Bugher
Treasurer
Matthew is a 2004 graduate of Grove City College, where he majored in Business and Economics. While at Grove City, he served as an officer for a campus organization that works with juvenile delinquents at a detention center in western Pennsylvania. After graduating from Grove City, Matthew worked for International Justice Mission, a DC-based human rights organization, serving as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Finance and as the Accounts Receivable and Financial Reporting Manager. In 2006, Matthew began coursework at Harvard Law School. In 2010, he will earn his Juris Doctor and plans on pursuing a career in international human rights law.
In the fall of 2002, Matthew spent four months in Kenya. During this time, he taught classes to street children at a school run by Homeless Children International - Kenya, traveled extensively, and worked with CFK for five weeks. Matthew served CFK by assisting with the daily routine at the organization?s medical clinic. He also assembled a financial report assessing the clinic's fiscal status and sustainability.
