Peter Dixon
Vice President

Peter Dixon is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is completing a double major in Political Science and Peace, War and Defense with a focus on Africa and ethnic conflict. He is from Atherton, CA, where he worked as a director for The Riekes Center for Human Enhancement, a youth oriented non-profit with multiple programs in athletic fitness, creative arts, and nature studies.

Peter has traveled all over the world including trips to South and Central America, Europe, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Asia, and Africa. He most recently spent the past summer working in Kibera with CFK. While there he worked on constructing and supplying the Dr. Kate H. Kohn Library and working with CFK’s recycling and waste management group Taka ni Pato. Because of his experiences Peter is making plans for a career in government in order to be able to continue to contribute to third-world communities. In his free time Peter is an avid skier and outdoorsman and is training for his first triathlon. He is also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha.
