Keep the League Alive

Each year in Kibera, more than 3,000 girls and boys participate in CFK’s Annual Champions League Tournament and the other peace and leadership focused activities. Like Nicholas and Adan, they play on mixed ethnicity teams and do community service. They have coaches that care about their future and teach them discipline and teamwork on and off the field.

Peace and Conflict Education: Mixed-ethnicity teams work together on and off the field to promote civic engagement, participate in community peace forums, and learn conflict management and mediation skills.
Leadership: Trainings, travel experiences, and positive mentorship help players develop confidence and set personal goals.
Equipment and Fields: New cleats, uniforms, and upgraded fields reduce the risk of player injury while attracting and retaining new players.
