Carolyne received a degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery in 1999. Afterwards, she completed her internship in a mission hospital, and was subsequently employed by the Kenyan government. Carolyne joined the CDC-KEMRI at the CFK Tabitha Clinic in 2006 where she works as a clinician, manages the clinic referral system, and is involved in health education projects. She believes her work is important because she is helping to improve the quality of health in the Kibera slums. Outside of work, Carolyne enjoys charity activities and reading.
