Florance joined CFK after gaining valuable experience working in another Nairobi slum, Dandora.  In Dandora, Florance worked with HIV/AIDS patients, administered free ARV treatments, as well as organized women empowerment activities.  Florance now works with Tabitha Medical Clinic and the CDC-KEMRI as a Pharmacist.  Florance says her work in Kibera is very satisfying.  Outside of work, Florance paints, listens to music, and dances.  Florance is married.
