Dr. Henry Njenga Njuguna

DR. HENRY NJENGA NJUGUNA holds a medical degree from the University of Nairobi, as well as a certificate in Accounting from Strathmore College. He is currently perssuing his Masters in Public health at Jomo Kenyatta University and recently won a scholarship for training in clinical research at the University of California San Francisco. While in medical school, Dr. Njuguna was elected pre-clinical representative of the Association of Medical Students and chosen to represent his school in an exchange program sponsored by the International AIDS Research and Training Program at the University of Washington. He is the author of "Management of HIV/AIDS in Resource Poor Settings," which was published by the University of Nairobi Medical School Journal (2004). Dr. Njuguna did his medical internship at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi. In the future, he plans to pursue a Phd in Epidemiology. He has interests in HIV and STI research as well as biostatistics. Dr. Njuguna has served as a church elder and is currently a board member of Rafiki Childrens Home in Kikuyu that takes care of HIV/AIDS orphans.
