Hillary holds a B.A. in Sociology and Communication from the University of Nairobi. Before CFK, He was the chair of the Funyula University Students Association, as well as a member of Students Against Drug Abuse and Africa Peace Forum. In 2004, Hillary was a development facilitator intern with World Vision Kenya in the Rift Valley. He has also taken courses at the Centre for Finance and Project Management (Nairobi) in project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation.
