Lucy Akoth
Nurse

Lucy graduated from the Kenya Medical Training College with a degree in Community Health Nursing (KRCHN).  After graduation, Lucy moved to Kibera and in 2006 began working with the CDC-KEMRI (Kenya Medical Research Institute) as a Nurse for the International Emerging Infections Program.   She joined the Tabitha Clinic after the CDC partnered with CFK.  Lucy finds her work exciting and particularly enjoys working with the Binti Pamoja Center girls on reproductive health and gender issues.  In her spare time, Lucy likes to travel, make new friends, sing and serve her community.
