Student Volunteer, Taka Ni Pato
Liz is a student at Duke University studying Biological Anthropology and Anatomy, Environmental Science and Policy, and Global Health. While in Kenya, Liz will work with the Taka ni Pato (Trash is Cash) program. The program helps community members develop income-generating activities while increasing education about environmental health and sanitation. She is interested in the relationship between wildlife conservation and human development and hopes to specialize in community conservation after she graduates.
